STRENGTHENED FOR HIS WORK
” And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord who has enabled me, because He counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry,” 1 Timothy 1:12 (NKJV)

God desires that you partner with Him for the fulfillment of His purpose.
However, most people are threatened by the immensity of God’s assignment and begin to shy away from getting involved.
But you don’t have to shy away from getting involved in God’s work. God doesn’t just put you in the ministry, He supplies you with all that you need to do what He wants you to do.

” I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has granted me [the needed] strength and made me able for this, because He considered me faithful and trustworthy, putting me into service [for this ministry],” 1 Timothy 1:12 (Amplified Bible).

The Lord gives you strength and ability; yours is to be counted faithful for His good work.
As partners with God, you don’t labour by your strength.
Â
” …For by strength no man shall prevail.” 1 Samuel 2:9
Â
And you don’t do what you can do, you do what God has strengthened you to do.
No human strength can succeed at God’s work. It will take the supply of His grace.
Paul said here also;
Â
” Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God” 1 Corinthians 3:5

This is why you must pray!
This is why you commune with the Holy Spirit.
This is why you must depend on the Lord fully to do what He inspires you to do.
Don’t trust in your own strength; receive more and more strength from the Lord.
Don’t look at yourself and your skills. They are not enough for the Lord’s work. The Holy Spirit is in you as the unending supply of the strength of God. Take advantage of your relationship with Him.

Thank you Lord Jesus, for counting me faithful and giving we all I need to be involved in your assignments. Thank you Lord, I don’t shy away but I take grace through prayer and meditation on the word. Gloreyyyyyy.
I commune with the Holy Spirit.

A life of total dependence on God, taking advantage of his supply.
I do all things by the enabling ability of God within me. I am enabled, I am strengthened, I have all the needed fuel to do what God wants me to do. I dont do by my strength I do as I am strengthened
The Holy Spirit is my strength.
My sufficiency is of the Lord.
Through prayers and the study of the word I renew strength always.

Thank you Lord Jesus for counting me faithful and granting me the needed strength for Your work!
Wow, whatever I have desired for the Lord, The highest Lord Himself supplies me with His strength. In the previous articles, I have learned that by no means shall any man prevail by his own strength except the grace of God be with him.
There has been so much grace that has come upon us and we cannot settle for less. 2 Peter 1 verse 2 teaches me that I increase in grace ( and peace) through the knowledge of Christ Jesus.
It is so wonderful to note that grace also means Ability.
The Lord is my hiding place.
Psalm 1-3 God is a safe place to hide,
ready to help when we need him.
We stand fearless at the cliff-edge of doom,
courageous in seastorm and earthquake,
Before the rush and roar of oceans,
the tremors that shift mountains.
Jacob-wrestling God fights for us,
God-of-Angel-Armies protects us.
