GOD’S LOVE LANGUAGE 2
“For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome” 1 John 5:3 (NKJV).
From yesterday’s episode, I explained briefly that, God has a love language.
And that, you are to love the Lord just as He has loved you.
Understanding God’s love language, is so essential for your manifestation.
Beloved, do you love the Lord?
The answer is here:
“If ye love me, keep my commandments… He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father’s which sent me.” John 14:15;24 (KJV).
To keep God’s commandment is to walk in obedience of His Word. It is to fulfill an authoritative prescription.
This means, the Lord’s commandments are not burdensome. As we have seen in the opening verse (1 John 5:3).
The word “burdensome” is the Greek word, ” barus” which means, burdensome grave, or grievous, heavy weightier.
God’s commandment does not lead to burdensome grave. God’s commandment as revealed in Christ, is Life.
It is an authorised prescription of liberty.
Remember Jesus is the Truth and the Life. (John 14:6; John 1:14; John 1:4).
The Lord’s commandments are not some lists of rules and regulations you need to follow. He is not speaking of the Law given to Israel through Moses.
The Lord’s commandments are the revelation of Himself.
He is the complete revelation of God.
He is the truth of God that brings freedom (John 8:32)
Now, for Jesus to say, “If” you love me, doesn’t necessarily mean, its possible a born again, may lack His love.
When you become born again, the Love of God is dispensed into you, through, the Holy Spirit. (Romans 5:5).
Thus, you already have the capacity to Love the Lord.
This means that, to keep Jesus’ commandments is a product of your love for Him.
Doing what Jesus says, or obeying His Word, is an outflow of the love of God at work in you.
This love is deeply rich and cannot be exhausted nor be quenched by any level of selfish desire.
It is beyond any strong affection, and it is set on doing what Jesus wants. That means the love is an empowering ability within you to respond right to the Words of Jesus and to act on it.
The more you act on the Word of the Lord, the more you demonstrate His rich love, which is at work in you.
You train yourself to demonstrate His Love and to bear fruits of His love in you.
Shalom

(Read and meditate on these: Deuteronomy 6:5;10:12; Mark 12:30; Jon 8:29;55)
*WE PRAY*
1. That your love will grow and increase beyond measure, bringing you into the rich revelation of spiritual insight in all things. And that you will be enabled to choose the most excellent way of all —becoming pure and without offense until the unveiling of Christ.
2. And you will be filled completely with the fruits of righteousness that are found in Jesus, the Anointed One—bringing great praise and glory to God!
