YOU HAVE A DIFFERENT SPIRIT
“But my servant Caleb, because he has a different spirit and has followed me fully, I will bring into the land into which he went, and his descendants shall possess it” Numbers 14:24 (ESV)
In today’s world, there are most people who have embellished their heart with their self-centered desires.
Most people are running away from the inspirations of God, and running after the lies of the systems.
Instead of living as champions they have become slaves of the systems. They see their fears instead of the faithful word of God.
Don’t be like the masses. Be what God has called you to be.

Don’t run away from the tasks ahead. Pursue after the lion before you.
You cannot walk into the manifestation of God’s purpose for your life, until you boldly act out God’s word.
The word of God processes your heart, to bring you into your full possession.
All the children of Israel who didn’t allow the word of God to process their heart, couldn’t possess the land.
Whenever your heart becomes overwhelmed by the challenges or the assignment of the Lord for you, know that you have turned away from His word.
Take note of what the Lord said to the children of Israel and His testimony of Caleb:
“But truly, as I live, and as all the earth shall be filled with the glory of the Lord, none of the men who have seen my glory and my signs that I did in Egypt and in the wilderness, and yet have put me to the test these ten times and have not obeyed my voice, shall see the land that I swore to give to their fathers. And none of those who despised me shall see it. But my servant Caleb, because he has a different spirit and has followed me fully, I will bring into the land into which he went, and his descendants shall possess it” Numbers 14:21-24 (ESV)
There were people who couldn’t possess the land because they turned away from the Lord. These people did not obey the Lord’s voice though they witnessed His glorious signs in Egypt.
They had every reason to be valiant in faith, yet chose to despise the Lord.
But Caleb was different!
He had a different spirit contrary to theirs.

However, one’s attitude is always connected to the condition of the heart. Caleb’s attitude was as a result of how the word of the Lord had conditioned his heart.
There twelve spies (12) sent to spy out the promised land, and 10 came with negative news which made the hearts of the people melt. They even saw themselves as grasshoppers.

These other ten (10) allowed fear to dominate their hearts. They couldn’t think there were any possibilities for the word of the Lord to come to pass.
But Caleb and Joshua didn’t allow their hearts to fail. They demonstrated an attitude of faith. They stood upon the word of the Lord.
Whiles others saw giants and limitations, they saw the giants as bread.

Beloved in Christ, God has not given you the spirit of fear.
You don’t have the spirit of the world, therefore you don’t think nor act as they do.
You have another spirit or a different attitude. Your inward disposition is of power, love and a sound mind. (2 Timothy 1:7).
You take steps as inspired by the Lord with boldness.
You have the attitude that wins and prevails.
You have the attitude of taking, conquering and possessing mountains.
