DON’T RUN AWAY FROM PURPOSE
“It’s not that I’ve already reached the goal or have already completed the course. But I run to win that which Jesus Christ has already won for me.”
Philippins 3:12 (God’s Word Translation)
The finished work of Christ, through His death, burial, and resurrection, does not mean that we have no work or task as believers in Christ.
The finished work of Christ has produced the goodness of God in every believer.
The Lord has made every new creation in Christ His workmanship unto good works (Ephesians 2:10). Interestingly, these good works were foreordained in God before the foundation of the world.
God planned in advance our destiny and the good works we would do to fulfill it.
Which means by Christ’s finished work, we have access through faith into God and have been established in Him to execute His plans by our good works of faith.
The life of every believer is to be the execution of God’s eternal purpose. The original goal and purpose of your life is not for you to live and accomplish your personal ambition.
The goal of your life is to execute God’s purpose.
All that you need to accomplish God’s purpose and plan for your life are fully supplied to you by God, through His Spirit. However, you will still not automatically accomplish God’s goal for your life.
To achieve God’s goal for your life, you have to be intentional, you have to be determined, and you have to make a decision you are going to diligently work towards the goal or target.
Paul the apostle said, “I run to win…”
To run in this context also means to press on or to explode with determination towards your goal. It is to act in commitment to a course till you reach the finish line.
There is a level God wants you to reach, an impact God wants you to make, and a glorious purpose to fulfill. There is a target God has woven into your heart.
No matter how you accomplish those personal ambitions of yours, you will only find true satisfaction when you pursue and accomplish God’s purpose and goal for your life.
This then requires that you set your heart and mind towards God’s goal for your life.
Live every day of your life by running towards the goal the Lord has set before you.
Don’t run away from purpose, run towards the purpose of God for you.

I run to finish
I enjoy more and more grace as I run towards the goal the Lord has set before me.
I don’t stop halfway.
I am intentional and determined on reaching the finish line

Being intentional is very crucial when it comes to fulfilling every life assignment.
Even with spiritual growth, it takes intentionality to mature.
No assumptions!
I take intentional steps daily!!

I’m intentional about my purpose
There is only one goal that when is accomplished will name you a good and faithful servant and that is the grand plan of God being a success in your hands
As every part of the body of Christ plays their part we move towards flooding the earth with jesus
Your self ambition is a tool not the mail deal. We shouldn’t set that ahead of purpose because at the end of time accountability will not be made on fulfilling purpose not your personal ambitions
Your ambitions will end on this earth but in eternity what you will render account for is what you did to make Gods vision a possibility
To achieve God’s goal for your life, you have to be intentional, you have to be determined, and you have to make a decision you are going to diligently work towards the goal or target.
