… UNSTABLE IN ALL HIS WAYS
“A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.”
James 1:8 (KJV)
One term which also has great significance in the New Testament is “Dipsuchos”. This is the Greek word for Double-mindedness.
This word “dipsuchos” is generated from the combined words, “di” or “dis” (which means two or twice respectively) and “psuche” (which means soul or mind). It is an adjective which literally describes one who has two minds or one who is two-souled.
This is a dangerous projectile that attacks the faith of the believer. Many believers have also had their faith affected by this dangerous virus, which is the cause of spiritual instability.
As James (the apostle) mentioned in his epistle, a double-minded person or two-souled man is unstable in all his ways.
The word unstable is from the Greek word, “akatastatos” which means to be “inconstant”, “restless”, “unsettled” and “disorderly”.
This concept of instability can be related to these two Hebrew words:
♦ nadad – which means to wander about or to flee from the post.
♦ tohu – which also means formlessness and confusion.
How can a believer thrive in faith when he is in such a state of mind or soul?
To be two-souled is to create two or double will within you. Such a person cannot advance into maturity and cannot be trustworthy.
When you become two-souled, you vacillate in the pursuit of purpose.
Clearly, James (the just apostle) had a poignant tone in this admonishment of double-mindedness.
Take a look at the verse in the Passion Translation:
“Just make sure you ask empowered by confident faith without doubting that you will receive. For the ambivalent person believes one minute and doubts the next. Being undecided makes you become like the rough seas driven and tossed by the wind. You’re up one minute and tossed down the next. When you are half-hearted and wavering it leaves you unstable. Can you really expect to receive anything from the Lord when you’re in that condition?” James 1:6-8 (TPT)
Are you wondering why, you have been a believer for many years and not seeing the growth and stability of life?
Wondering why today you are joyful in the Lord, and another time you are overwhelmed in discouragement?
Wondering why today you make a decision to go the extra mile for the Lord, and another time you don’t feel motivated?
Listen beloved, you have allowed yourself to become two-faced minded.
You need to train your mind through the teaching of Christ, to be focused and single-minded.
The adversary takes delight in pushing you into that state of “two-souled” through contrary winds of doctrine.
He uses doctrines which oppose the revelation of Jesus, to forge a different opinion within your heart.
You have to see this as warfare, and make a decision to:
“…demolish every deceptive fantasy that opposes God and break through every arrogant attitude that is raised up in defiance of the true knowledge of God… capture, like prisoners of war, every thought and insist that it bow in obedience to the Anointed One” 2 Corinthians 10:5 (TPT).
This is not something you do tomorrow. It’s a stand you have to take today and must act out, stand firm on the knowledge of Jesus in your heart.
“Then we will no longer be like children, forever changing our minds about what we believe because someone has told us something different or has cleverly lied to us and made the lie sound like the truth.” Ephesians 4:14 (TLB)
Beloved, refuse every form of double-mindedness.
Hallelujah!
2 YEARS PLAN
2 Kings 19
Glory!
Focus is very key in walking in fulfillment of life and purpose. The double minded loses the focus gauge of life and cannot achieve anything definite. I choose to remain focus!!
Conflicting doctrines is a root cause to being double minded
When one allows religion to teach and breech what The gospel of Jesus is building in them it forms two strong holds in their minds that will always make them confused in their pursuit of purpose. When the gospel of grace affirms that God is with you and you have the true conviction that God is with you then religion also brings its lies that God has left you because you didn’t pray and you did something bad of which this goes contrary to what the word of God says so now you live like one who is confused but we have to give our minds to what Jesus has said. In his word because that is the final message of God to us. Religion always lies and doesn’t say anything scriptural it is only lies
This is why the devil capitalizes on it
Yes Sir
I refuse every form of double mindedness
Glory to Jesus…
This made it so clear that for you to work the works of the Lord you must have one mind (on the revelation of Jesus), if we were not able to do something sitting things for the Lord it because we have double minded…
You need to train your mind through the teaching of Christ, to be focused and single-minded.
Hallelujai
Glory to God.
I refuse to doubt God.
God bless you more Apostel.
I maintain and imbue focus on that which the Lord has called me unto.
I refuse to let myself get distracted.
My confidence is in the glorious plan of God for my life.
The adversary takes delight in pushing you into that state of “two-souled” through contrary winds of doctrine.
He uses doctrines which oppose the revelation of Jesus, to forge a different opinion within your heart.

I refuse to give in to the adversary.
I focus only on God and his revelation.
The word of God is my daily strength.
Glory to God.
My heart remains stable on the true knowledge of God.
I refuse to doubt God and His Word.
In the mighty name of Jesus
My mind is focused on God.
I set my gaze on Him.
I refuse to be distracted
I doubt my doubt.
I live daily above double-mindedness.
Thank you Jesus
Thank you Jesus
To be double minded is another terrible projectile that delays the believers manifestation and results.
The adversary enjoys it when we are ambivalent.
No!
I maintain my focus on God’s word.
Glorreyyy!
I stand firm on the knowledge of Jesus in my heart
