DARE TO DO THE EXTRAORDINARY
“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go”
Joshua 1:9 (NKJV)
Whatever God tells you to do will take Faith.
It is by faith we live and walk with God. Faith is our reality.
The things we need to do by faith will always take faith for us to do them.
Anything that has to bring glory to God must be done in faith. (It is impossible to please God without faith).
Faith is an unflinching confidence in who God is and what He has said.
It is knowing without any tittle of doubt that the Lord is with you and He will help you achieve what He has sent you to do.
Faith is audacious in its dealing.
When you act in faith courage is seen.
This is why you must have the consciousness of the presence of the Lord in your life.
God commanded Joshua to be strong and courageous. For that is an essential element to demonstrate greatness.
Serving others is greatness, however, it takes great faith and courage to serve your generation.
A person called to fulfill greatness and to serve His generation can live as a wuss.
Look at Gideon, a mighty man of valour, yet saw himself as the least in his father’s house and of the poorest or weakest family in Manasseh.
He had the potential to save the nation of Israel from the Midianites, but felt enervated.
Maybe you are reading this and feels you don’t have what it takes to do great things.
When you consider your family history, your experiences through school and even in your community you can’t do anything great for the Lord.
Beloved, the LORD SEES YOU AS A MIGHTY MAN!!!
God specialises in doing the unimaginable. Faith thrives in impossible situations.
That is God.
He will always use what it seem depleted to reveal His glory.
He used, a young man who is least in his family and from the weakest clan to bring great victory in Israel.
He made mighty men out of men that were distresses, indebted, and discontented (1Samuel 22:2).
Why must God use young 17 years old David, with no military experience to defeat Goliath with just a sling and stone (1 Samuel 17:50-53).
To feed five thousand people, He used a little boys lunch pack of five bread and two fishes.
This is audacity!!!
God doesn’t choose the easy paths, He creates greatness out of what seem impossible.
To exercise the audacity of faith, learn to be with the Lord.
“Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated, common men, they were astonished. And they recognized that they had been with Jesus.”
Acts 4:13 (ESV)
You cannot maintain consistent fellowship with the Lord Jesus and remain a coward.
You will not just serve the Lord and show how you love him during church meetings and in your room.
You will look for places to show forth His glory and power.
Take a daring step, knowing that the Lord is with you.
Until you take a step to do something great you will not see the mighty hand of the Lord.
God is with you, dare to do the extraordinary!

What God requires us to do will always take faith. He told Joshua to be courageous because you can be called and yet live as a weak man or enervated against your purpose.
This is why it is important to maintain fellowship with the Lord. And as God instructs you take the courage to do it.

Looking at Gideon’s story of Conquering the Midianites, David defeating Goliath and Jesus feeding the Multitude with a small lad’s lunch, it tells one thing clearly. Thus, God uses the least to achieve great results. However, for this to happen, one has to come to the consciousness that the Lord is with him. The CONSCIOUSNESS that The Lord is with a man, built on the word is that which fuels faith.

God is simple in his dealings but when it comes to manifesting his power he makes it show that he can bring beauty out of what men called ugly or what men think is an outcast. Even his in-depth wisdom he gave it to finishermen because the teachers of the law thought they were the wisest he made it known that it is his spirit that makes men not necessarily academia or being an intellect
It is not about muscles or the physique but it is about how yielded the heart is to God that is how far he uses you. To be yielded to him is to also be yielded to his word
What he sees and has made in you is what he refers you to not what you see on the externals that is why you must always go for his word so you becomes what he has made in you
