HOW TO BE WHOLE OF ANY PLAGUE 3

“And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague.”

Mark 5:34 (KJV)

From previous episodes of this series, I mentioned that your growth in faith is dependent on your understanding.

Your understanding of the revelation of Jesus determines your manifestation of faith.
Your understanding of the Lord must grow deep. The depths of your understanding of who He is will set you up in the heights of glory.

Anyone whose faith was spoken of by Jesus had a deeper understanding of the revelation of His person.

We already looked at the faith of the Roman captain (in Matthew 8), whose faith was built on his revelation of who Jesus is and His authority. Jesus was astonished by the faith of this Roman captain.

Always remember that there is no faith without the knowledge and understanding of God’s revelation. Even the patriarchs, as mentioned in Hebrews 11, didn’t generate faith out of nothing, but exercised their faith according to God’s revelation.

This is how you step out of a crisis, challenge or plague. It doesn’t matter what the situation is; the level of your revelation will influence your faith and will bring forth the miracle.

There is an amazing reality about the woman with the issue of blood.

“Now there was a woman who had been suffering from chronic bleeding for twelve years. Although she had endured a great deal under the care of many doctors and had spent all of her money, she had not been helped at all, but rather grew worse. Since she had heard about Jesus, she came up behind him in the crowd and touched his robe, because she had been saying, “If I can just touch his robe, I will get well.” Her bleeding stopped at once, and she felt in her body that she was healed from her illness. Immediately Jesus became aware that power had gone out of him. So he turned around in the crowd and asked, “Who touched my clothes?” His disciples asked him, “You see the crowd jostling you, and yet you ask, ‘Who touched me?’” But he kept looking around to look at the woman who had done this. So the woman, knowing what had happened to her, came forward fearfully, fell down trembling in front of him, and told him the whole truth. He told her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace and be healed from your illness.” Mark 5:25-34 (International Standard Version)

The healing miracle of this lady wasn’t just about touching Jesus’ garment. Her faith was according to a certain understanding of the revelation of Jesus in her heart.

There were many others who were also touching Jesus’ garment, yet the scriptures didn’t record anyone receiving a miracle at that moment. This lady knew something the others didn’t overlook.

She understood Malachi 4:2, “But for you who fear my name, the Sun of Righteousness will rise with healing in his wings. And you will go free, leaping with joy like calves let out to pasture.” (New Living Translation)

The prophetic language in Malachi wasn’t new to the Jews. They understood that it wasn’t about the literal sun, but about the Messiah. And the wings, as mentioned in the verse, weren’t literal wings, and neither was it just about the picture of the wings of a bird stretched across the sky.

The word “wings” is from the Hebrew word “kânâph”, which means an edge or extremity or borders, specifically of a bird or army, which is a wing. Now it is also the word for the edge or borders of a garment or bedclothing.

What is referred to as the fringe of a garment is also known as the wing of a garment.

Take note of the Lord’s instruction to the Jews concerning their garments:

“Speak unto the children of Israel, and bid them that they make them fringes in the borders of their garments throughout their generations, and that they put upon the fringe of the borders a ribband of blue:”
And it shall be unto you for a fringe, that ye may look upon it, and remember all the commandments of the LORD, and do them; and that ye seek not after your own heart and your own eyes, after which ye use to go a whoring:”
Numbers 15:38-39 (KJV)

From Numbers 15:38, you will find two words, “fringes” and “borders”. The word “fringes” is from the Hebrew word “tsîytsith”, which also means a floral or wing-like projection that is a forelock of hair, or a tassel. And the word “borders” is the same Hebrew word, “kânâph”, as used in Malachi 4:2.

Thus, the Lord instructed that at the borders (wings) or edge or hem of every Jew’s garments, they are to make fringes. And interestingly, in verse 39 of Numbers 15, when the Israelites look upon the fringes of their garments, they shall remember His commandments.

Now in Malachi 4:2, the prophet pointed out that the Sun of Righteousness, who is the Messiah, shall have HEALING or medicine in the fringes of His garment, and it shall set people who revere Him free, and they shall go forth with joy.

The woman with the issue of blood didn’t just touch Jesus. She specifically touches the fringe of His garment. Definitely, she understood something. Did she touch just the fringe of every man’s garment? No!

She recognized and revered Jesus as the Sun of Righteousness. She had in her heart the revelation of Jesus as the Messiah and knew that as long as He is the Messiah (the Sun of Righteousness), His wings, the fringes or tassel of His garments, will have healing.

“And behold, a woman who had suffered from a discharge of blood for twelve years came up behind him and touched the fringe of his garment” Matthew 9:20 (ESV)

Every miracle unveiled the revelation of Jesus as the Messiah.
Within your present challenge and crisis, just set your heart on the Lord. And His rays shall shine on you as the rays of the Sun at its rising.

No matter the plague you are afflicted with, set your eyes on the Lord. This does not fail, no matter the circumstances in and around your life.

The goal of the adversary is to shift your focus away from the Lord and to make your heart faint through His false and evil projections.

When the Israelites were afflicted by serpents in the wilderness, God’s response to Moses’ prayer was a revelation of Jesus.

Who is the Lord to you?
What revelation of Him do you have in your heart?

It is His revelation that will bring you into the abundant joy of liberty.

Selah.

Glorreyyyy

There is no miracle without the backing of something that reveals the Lord. To God knowledge is everything. I used to think the woman with issue of blood Just got her healing because Jesus is gracious…until I read “Daughter your faith has made you whole, go in peace and be healed of your plague.

Meaning she knew something that others didnt know or overlook.

I turn to God no matter the matter

Very true.
I got to know she didn’t touch the hem of His garment because she heard He is the Messiah. She had something deep others didn’t know. This is why understanding the scriptures is very important. She knew the scriptures and got hold of the revelation in it.

I have the right revelation of Jesus.
Thank you Jesus.

Reading this, it’s clear that the people of God perish for lack of knowledge, as Hosea the Prophet of God declared. It takes knowledge and understanding of the revelation of His person, concerning every situation to exercise victory or receive a miracle. Knowing also that the adversary exploits the ignorance of men to afflict them, we ought to behold the deeper revelation of the understanding of Jesus.
