LET YOUR HEART INDITE A GOOD MATTER 3
“My heart is inditing a good matter: I speak of the things which I have made touching the king: my tongue is the pen of a ready writer.”
Psalm 45:1 (KJV)
Have you read the recent 5 episodes of Machaira with Apostle Bennie?
If you haven’t done so, then click on them to have a great feast.
Recently, someone asked me, “Apostle, I have really been confessing the word of God, but I don’t see its manifestation in my life”
Beloved, from previous episodes, you will find the clear answer to this question. You see, the manifestation of the word of God doesn’t first begin with confession. Though it is a great thing to speak forth the word, one has to first set the word up in his or her heart.
The scriptures did charge every believer to guard his or her tongue.
“He who guards his mouth and tongue keeps his soul from distress.” Proverbs 21:23 (Berean Standard Bible)
However, as we have seen previously, you speak according to the meditations of your heart. What goes on in your heart comes out of your mouth.
When you attempt to make positive confessions, the real challenge of life will hit your heart, and you may speak wrongly.
Thus, you can truly guard your tongue when you are able to properly guard your heart. Confessions made with deep convictions will produce courageous steps.
Beloved, “Guard your heart more than anything else, because the source of your life flows from” Proverbs 4:23 (GOD’S WORD Translation)
Your mouth is the channel by which life flows out of you from your heart. What comes out of your mouth is brewed in your heart.
Take a look at the opening verse again:
“My heart is on fire, boiling over with passion. Bubbling up within me are these beautiful lyrics as a lovely poem to be sung for the King. Like a river bursting its banks, I’m overflowing with words, spilling out into this sacred story” Psalm 45:1 (TPT)
The words which shall overflow from your heart are the thoughts or the theme bubbling up within you.
When your heart is set on the theme of past failures, such will overflow out of your mouth and will influence your actions.
No one is designed to have a stronger mind than the other. It is what we choose to set our minds on that determines the strength of our minds.
David never had fear of what his enemies would do to him because the theme of his heart is this, “The Lord is my light and my Salvation…”
There is no way you will walk in fear or be afraid of what others plot against you, when the theme of your heart is that “The Lord is the strength of my life…”
David didn’t just make such an utterance in Psalm 27:1; it was the meditation of his heart.
The songs of David are songs of confidence in God. The reflections of his meditation.
No matter the challenges he faced and the moments of despair, you will find his boast in the Lord.
His words and songs were utterances of the Lord’s theme on his heart. Songs are the communication and reflections of deep impressions of the heart.
“And David spake unto the Lord the words of this song in the day that the Lord had delivered him out of the hand of all his enemies, and out of the hand of Saul: And he said, The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; The God of my rock; in him will I trust: he is my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge, my saviour; thou savest me from violence.”
Instead of the theme of sickness and death, set your heart on the revelation of Jesus’ stripes.
Don’t allow the devil to make you feel you are afflicted because of your transgressions.
The devil has no legal right to afflict until your heart accepts it. Refuse to accept that you cannot be healed because you once lived a wicked life.
You are no longer a wicked child if you are in Christ.
“But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was crushed for our wickedness [our sin, our injustice, our wrongdoing]; The punishment [required] for our well-being fell on Him, And by His stripes (wounds) we are healed.” Isaiah 53:5 (Amplified Bible)
Jesus legally attained your well-being. He achieved every requirement needed for you to walk in wholeness.
For every infirmity you may be experiencing in your body, see in your heart that the Lord paid for it.
The manifestation of your wholeness is rooted in the revelation of Jesus as a theme in your heart.
What is the theme of your heart this day?
(2 Samuel 23:2; Proverbs 16:23; Psalm 49:3; Job 32:18-20; Job 33:3; Matthew 12:35)
