LET YOUR HEART INDITE A GOOD MATTER

“My heart is inditing a good matter: I speak of the things which I have made touching the king: my tongue is the pen of a ready writer.”

Psalm 45:1 (KJV)

From the previous episode I explained that your heart is the source or the origination of your actions.

“Guard your heart more than anything else, because the source of your life flows from” Proverbs 4:23 (GOD’S WORD Translation)

Since the adversary knows your heart is the seat of your deepest thoughts and emotions, he does anything possible to project deceptive thoughts into your heart.

He knows the moment your heart begins to absorb those thoughts, they will definitely germinate and manifest in your life.

That was how the adversary corrupted the pure hearts of Adam and Eve.

Look at what Paul the apostle said to the brethren in Corinth:

“But now I’m afraid that just as Eve was deceived by the serpent’s clever lies, your thoughts may be corrupted and you may lose your single-hearted devotion and pure love for Christ. 2 Corinthians 11:3 (TPT)

Reading from the above verse, how did Satan deceive Eve?

He used his clever lies to deceive Eve’s thoughts. And Paul the apostle posits that the devil’s strategy has not changed. He may corrupt the hearts or thoughts of the saints by his clever lies.

Through the deceptive thoughts of the devil, he poisons or corrupts your heart and disables you from believing or from exercising yourself in faith.

When he succeeds at deceiving your heart, he practically takes away the word of the Lord from your heart so that you may not believe or have faith (See Luke 8:12).

How can you live the victorious life in Christ without faith? For the just shall live by faith. (Romans 1:17).

The adversary comes after your heart. Whatever he wants to achieve on earth begins with the seed of thoughts he sows in the hearts of men.

When he wants to destroy your family, distract your miracle, collapse your business, he makes you doubt the reality of God.

He overwhelms your heart with negative and discouraging themes.

The evil and wickedness of men we see today began with the imagination or intents of the heart of men.

“Then the LORD saw that the wickedness of man was great upon the earth, and that every inclination of the thoughts of his heart was altogether evil all the time.” Genesis 6:5 (Berean Standard Bible).

Once the adversary is able to invade the meditation of your heart with his deceptive lies, he has achieved the plotted coup to dethrone the manifestion of your testimony.

This is why more than anything else you must guard your heart. Every thought of your heart must be consistent with the glorious news of Jesus.

Job said, “For the thing I feared has overtaken me, and what I dreaded has befallen me.” Job 3:25 (Berean Study Bible)

Fear is the outcome of the control and influence of doubts and anxiety of failure in your heart.

Job was easily afflicted because he allowed the theme of fear in his heart.

Sometimes for the enemy to control and even affirm the theme of your heart, he begins to attack your peripherals.

He deceive people to become your enemies, he attempts to resist your business, tries to cripple your finances, projects infirmities to afflict your body with symptoms.

Whiles your heart settles and accepts these happenings the challenges now gain root.

So brother James charged us to “count it all joy when you encounter various trials” (James 1:2)

“To count” is from the Greek word, “hÄ“geomai” which means to esteem, think as a ruler or a governor over a matter, or have rule over the situation in your heart.

Don’t breakdown or accept defeat. Instead of allowing the challenge to take root in your heart, look unto Jesus, make His victory the meditation and theme of your heart.

Let your heart absorb and be occupied with the victory of Jesus.

There are many more things the Lord has achieved for you. Focus on the victory of the Lord concerning your challenge, think on it, speak it, shout about it, sing it, and dance to it.

What is the theme of your heart this day?

Are you thinking about debt, death, defeat, failure, loss, sickness, limitations, lack or you are thinking of the abundance of the Lord, the life of God, the victory of the Lord, his success, the profits, good health, limitlessness, and overflowing grace?

Beloved, let your heart indite a good matter.

Shalom!
