LET YOUR HEART INDITE A GOOD MATTER
“My heart is inditing a good matter: I speak of the things which I have made touching the king: my tongue is the pen of a ready writer.”
Psalm 45:1 (KJV)
The heart in this context refers to the innermost intentions, emotions and being. It is the innerself or deepest part of a person.
Your heart is the source or the origination of your actions.
“Guard your heart more than anything else, because the source of your life flows from” Proverbs 4:23 (GOD’S WORD Translation)
Your heart is the seat of your deepest thoughts and emotions.
To guard your heart with all diligence means to guard it with all vigilance. Your entire life is centered and built on the condition of your heart.
Let’s read the verse from the Goodnews Translation:
“Be careful how you think; your life is shaped by your thoughts.” (Proverbs 4:23)
Before you start blaming the devil, and others for the outcome of your life, first consider how you think.
Many things which goes on in your life are rooted in the cogitation of your heart.
There is nothing that happens to you, which first doesn’t go through your heart. The possibilities of your life are framed within the walls of your heart.
There are two core items which influences your manifestations:
1. The condition of your heart.
2. The words of your lips.
What is in your heart controls your lips.
The mouth will articulate the abundance of your heart.
As Jesus said, “People are known in this same way. Out of the virtue stored in their hearts, good and upright people will produce good fruit. But out of the evil hidden in their hearts, evil ones will produce what is evil. For the overflow of what has been stored in your heart will be seen by your fruit and will be heard in your words.” Luke 6:45 (TPT)
No matter how long you pretend, anyone who pays attention to your words will know what is in your heart because your words exposes what is in your heart.
In the realms of the spirit, words are determinants. Your weight and depths are measured by the words you speak.
The afflictions or affluence of men are influenced by their words and deepest thoughts.
Your words will always reflect the meditation of your heart.
To indite a good matter is to set a good theme in your heart. The word indite means to gush out, well up or boil up.
“My heart is on fire, boiling over with passion. Bubbling up within me are these beautiful lyrics…” (Psalm 45:1; TPT)
The words you meditate on in your heart are flames which burn in your heart. This is why when you feel angry or even joyful, you feel a burning sensation.
Because there is a fire in your heart. But the kind of fire which burns within you is determined by the theme of your heart.
For the afflictions of the adversary to limit you, he sets themes of discouragement, failure and defeat in your heart.
Let your heart boil or bubble with a beautiful theme.
Set the right themes or good news on your heart everyday.

The heart is the seat of one’s emotions and deepest thoughts
The state of one’s inner man is dependent on the meditation of his heart
The state of one’s heart is exposed by the words one articulates
Therefore, my heart indites good matters.

My heart boils up with a beautiful theme!
I create my life by how I speak and how I think.
But how I speak is as a result of what is in my heart.
If the word of God saturates my heart, the fruits that will gush out of me will be the Word.
Job.33.3 My words shall express the uprightness of my heart, and my lips shall speak what they know with utter sincerity. (AMP)
