Beloved, as the blessed of the Lord, you are lavished by the Lord with super-abundance. You have the capacity and ability to generate resources. Refuse to think POOR! Selah!
    Apostle Bennie
    Author

And instead of being drunk, Paul admonishes the brethren not to be like the others who are in the night, and under the influence of darkness. He charges them to be sober. As I explained the meaning of being sober (“nēphō”), it is to be wineless or totally free from mental and spiritual intoxication.

    Paul gave another similar illustration to the brethren in Ephesus;

“And don’t get drunk with wine, which is rebellion; instead be filled with the fullness of the Holy Spirit.” Ephesians 5:18 (TPT)

To the Thessalonians he admonished them not to be as others who sleep and get drunk at night. But they should be sober-minded because they are of the light. Then he admonished the Ephesians to not be drunk with wine (to be wineless, sober and self-control); and to be continuously filled and saturated with the Holy Spirit.

    Did you get it?

Let’s go over it briefly again:

To be sober-minded is literally to be wineless or free from intoxication. However, this sobriety is not being empty headed, but fully saturated with the Holy Spirit.

Thus, as you behold the coming of the Lord you must be fully saturated by the Holy Spirit. Moreover, understand that the Holy Spirit is given as the guarantee that we are the Lord’s.

This is then the testimony that when the Lord comes, He is coming for you because you are His.

Don’t be distracted and dominated by the deception of the adversary. Live daily under the influence of the Holy Spirit and you shall graciously demonstrate sobriety

    Hallelujah!

BREAK FREE FROM ALL LIMITATIONS 1

“And by thy sword shalt thou live, and shalt serve thy brother; and it shall come to pass when thou shalt have the dominion, that thou shalt break his yoke from off thy neck.”

    Genesis 27:40 (KJV)

After Jacob had received all his father’s blessings, Esau returned to receive his father’s blessings, and there was nothing left for him.

After much tears and pleading, Isaac spoke these words over Esau:

    “And Isaac his father answered and said unto him, Behold, thy dwelling shall be the fatness of the earth, and of the dew of heaven from above;
And by thy sword shalt thou live, and shalt serve thy brother; and it shall come to pass when thou shalt have the dominion, that thou shalt break his yoke from off thy neck.”
    Genesis 27:39-40 (KJV)

Though Jacob has taken all the blessings and shall be lord over Esau, and Esau will also be a servant to Jacob, Isaac left Esau with a little window of hope.

“and it shall come to pass when thou shalt have the dominion, that thou shalt break his yoke from off thy neck”

Isaac showed Esau how he can break the yoke of limitations or slavery:

When you shall have the dominion.

Very few people have focused on these words of Isaac to Esau.

Obviously, Esau’s decisions contributed to how he lost the blessing of the birthright. He technically traded his birthright as a firstborn for a single meal.

Esau took the future for granted and focused on the present gratification. He lived carnally. The scriptures referred to him as godless because he sold his birthright.

And the consequence was now to make him a slave to his brother.

Esau lost the blessing and inheritance of his birthright. But now, to continue to live forever as a slave to his brother, it was up to the choices he was going to make.

The word “dominion” in the phrase “…when you shall have the dominion” as used in the King James Translation is not the same Hebrew word “râdâh” (rule, subjugate, reign, tread down, overtake) as used in Genesis 1:26, 28.

The word dominion used in Genesis 27:40 is from the Hebrew word “rûd”, which means “to disconsolate”.

It speaks of a person becoming discomforted in a place or being restless in a way of thinking.

Esau’s past mistakes and choices had consequentially placed him in this position of slavery. His background and past have created a limitations for his future. But if only he shall awaken himself from anything keeping him in that position, he will have to break the yoke from his neck and live free.

Esau had the choice to remain bitter, crushed, defeated, disappointed, and enslaved, or he would shake himself out of such a state to carve a path into blessings for himself.

And all that Esau needed to break free was to forgive and love Jacob.

Esau wasn’t to live in the pain of the past. The more he envied and lived bitterly towards Jacob, the more he subjected himself to the yoke of his brother.

Esau did forgive Jacob and continued to prosper, and they both flourished as well (Genesis 33:4-16). It was the descendants of Esau (Edomites) who continued in the foolishness of bitterness and envy of Israel (descendants of Jacob) that led to their destruction.

However, the point basically is this: if even Esau had a way of escape from his past failure, much more you?

Living in limitation and struggle is a choice. You have to make a decision to take advantage of the power and victory of Christ at work in you.

He has supplied great faith into you so that you will walk in the reality of an overcomer.

Don’t settle for the limitations around you. Don’t think according to your background or where you live. Don’t make decisions according to how you feel.

Jesus came to break all limitations! And greater is He that is in you than He that is in the world.

Shake yourself from every yoke of the mind and of the heart. Live above all limitations.

EVERY LEADER MUST LEARN TO FIGHT 1

“Afterwards, Jacob went back and spent the rest of the night alone. A man came and fought with Jacob until just before daybreak.”

    Genesis 32:24 (CEV)

Every man has the inherent potential to lead in any course they set for themselves. However, the born-again in Christ has the direct call of the Lord into His Kingdom leadership.

The new creation in Christ is made a king and priest (Revelation 1:6, 1 Peter 2:9).

This means every believer is designed and sent to lead in his or her sphere.  As mentioned in previous episodes, if you are born again, see yourself as a leader.

To be a leader means you have an assignment to inspire, influence, and direct people toward God’s agenda. Jesus Our Lord calls His disciples (which includes you) as the salt of the earth and the light of the world (Matthew 5:13-16).
Which means you provide guidance, illumination and preservation of destinies. Destinies depend on you.

As a leader, your life is not for your self-gratification but for divine glorification. The more you shine as a light in your sphere, men glorify God because of your impact.

As a leader, your decisions, choices, plans, actions, and results affect the lives of people in your sphere.

Your failure is the failure of many. Your victory gives opportunity to many others to also experience a victorious life.

This doesn’t come by chance. There are many factors which may serve as a resistance or limitation, but you must be daring to exercise your victory.

Thankfully, every born-again operates from the place of victory because of the victory of Christ.
The victory of Jesus doesn’t mean you will not face opposition and resistance.

Paul the apostle referred to Epaphroditus as a brother, fellow worker and a fellow soldier (Philippians 2:25). He told Timothy to endure suffering along with him as a good soldier of Christ (2 Timothy 2:3).

Why would Paul the apostle call you a soldier in Christ if there is nothing to fight for?

During the final days of his ministry, Apostle Paul himself said, “I have fought a good fight” (2 Timothy 4:7).

So, a son of God in Christ, you are also a soldier of Christ.

There is no destiny which is fulfilled without a fight. This fight is not an ordinary fight. It is a fight of faith. The fulfilment of your destiny in Christ is the fulfilment of a purpose which is foreordained by God.

If the adversary can prevent you from fulfilling your purpose, then he has attempted to disrupt a divine plot. And this also affects others whose destinies are connected to yours.

Most believers assume that as long as they have entered the rest of Christ, there is nothing to fight for.

There is a whole lot more to fight for; as believers, we fight from the place of rest or faith:

    –  to enforce our victory which we have obtained in Christ Jesus.
    – to liberate others from the power of darkness and to bring them into the light.
    – to cause the glory of God to manifest in our world.
    – to ensure that the Lord’s vision is fulfilled in our sphere.

As you can see from the opening verse, Jacob, who has the birthright and the blessing, had to still wrestle to enter the full manifestation of His blessedness as a nation.

It was after he prevailed that he fully matured as a nation (corporate man). Until then, Jacob was just an individual man and a family man. He was not yet Israel, though he was the custodian of the blessings and promise of Abraham and Isaac.

No believer is called by God to live an ordinary life. Every believer is a custodian of a divine vision and mandate.

To expand the scope of your impact, you must learn to prevail. And if you want to prevail, you must learn to fight.

Don’t allow the challenges or limitations of your background to bully you. Don’t bow to the systems of this world. Be a fighter.

Don’t allow anything to reduce you to ordinariness.

You are not ordinary; you are of God. Therefore, don’t live an ordinary life; live as a leading victorious soldier.

David said, “The Lord trains my hands for battle; my arms can bend a bow of bronze” (2 Samuel 22:35)

    Be a fighter.

Prayer is essential in this spiritual warfare. It is an advanced technology given to us by God, to stay in touch with the military command post or control center. Have you prayed today? YOU ARE A BLESSED MAN

“The Lord will open the heavens, the storehouse of his bounty, to send rain on your land in season and to bless all the work of your hands”

    Deuteronomy 28:12 (NIV)

It’s easy to feel less blessed when you’re overwhelmed with challenges. Sometimes, when it seems like nothing seems to work, you will feel like God’s promises aren’t for you.

You look at others and feel they are blessed, and everything works successfully in their lives.

You may also wonder if it is possible for a person to have:

    – Beautiful marriage and blessed children

    – Prosperous career or profession, and business

    – Outstanding Ministry

    – A dignified and peaceful life.

Beloved, this is God’s design for your life.

You can enjoy a life more beautiful and glorious than it was in “Eden”.

Let this sink deep in your heart, the outcome of your life is what you believe with your heart.

Do you believe that you can have a life full of glory and beauty?

Hear this, all things are possible to them that believe (Mark 9:23).

“All things” here means all things. Whether you read it in Hebrew, Greek, Latin, French, English, etc.

    ALL THINGS MEANS ALL THINGS!

Whatever you believe will gravitate towards you.

Do not accept the idea that your life is full of struggle.

Hold on to the word of God.

As you act in complete obedience of faith to the word of God, you will see the manifested glory of the word. The blessing of the word of God is not for some limited people.

It is for those who believe!

Maintain this strong mentality of faith that you are a blessed man.

Let it be your consciousness that your hands are so blessed that everything you touch will turn to gold. Wherever you go and whatever you do is prosperous because God is with you.

No matter the challenge, you will emerge strong, with mighty testimonies

“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they will not overwhelm you. When you walk through fire, you will not be scorched, Nor will the flame burn you.” Isaiah 43:2 (AMP)

No challenge is bigger than you. Whatever you come in contact with, you will become the center of attraction.

Always see yourself as one with blessed hands.

The more you think this way, the more all things align for your good.

EPISODE 343 – FOUR CRUCIAL ITEMS FOR A VICTORIOUS YEAR

    CHRIST COMMONWEALTH-COMMUNITY

    The Love-Life Agency

    Gloreeey!

Blessed new year to you beloved reader.

This is our year of KINGDOM REFULGENCE

    And our month of IMMERSION.

    Monday, 1st January, 2024

FOUR CRUCIAL ITEMS FOR A VICTORIOUS YEAR

Today is the first day of this great new year. And you don’t need to wait till the ending of the year before you make the most of every opportunity. You must be intentional with your decisions and
choices. This is why I am sharing these four crucial items with you today:

    1. Write down your plans plainly
“And the LORD answered me: “Write the vision; make it plain on tablets, so he may run who reads it.” Habbakuk 2:2

Yes, it’s good to keep Divine inspirations to heart. However, you should also write them plainly. Write plainly the things the Lord has inspired you to
do in His Kingdom and Ministry, Business and Finance, Academics or Education and Family. Don’t assume you will remember all the
inspirations of the Spirit. Whiles you pray or fellowship with the Spirit keep your notes by you. As you read, study and meditate on the scriptures, keep a writing material.

    2. Get into Prayer.
“Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established”. Proverbs 16:3 (NASB)

Prayer is not just to be done in January. Prayer must be your daily habit. It must be part of your life and living. Don’t just have one good day of prayer.
“Men always ought to pray” (Luke 18:1), “Pray without ceasing” (1 Thess. 5:17).

Understand that Prayer is not just to have God to answer your requests; through Prayer you are supplied with grace and ability to do.
“We plan the way we want to live, but only God
makes us able to live it” Proverbs 16:9 (MSG)

Through prayer you receive clarity of purpose and also submit the totality of God’s inspirations and ideas to you, back to Him. You put God in charge.
    (Read Proverbs 16:3 Message Translation).

    3. Get into Action.
“Get up, for this matter is your responsibility, and we will support you. Be strong and take action! ” Ezra 10:4 (Berean Study Bible)

Those ideas and plans were not to be locked up in your notes as prayer topics. Plans are to be executed. You have to act on the plans as the Lord has given you grace and ability to do. You must act with a sense of urgency“Now that you know these things, you will be
blessed if you do them.” John 13:17 (NIV)

    4. Maintain Consistency.
“And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up” Galatians 6:9

Consistently plan, write the ideas, pray and move into action. It takes discipline and diligence to be consistent. This year is a great year for you.

    Remain Blessed.

    Shalom.

  • EPISODE 261 – FEAR NO EVIL

EPISODE 261 – FEAR NO EVIL

    CHRIST COMMONWEALTH-COMMUNITY

    The Love-Life Agency

    Wednesday 11th October, 2023

    FEAR NO EVIL

“Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.”

    Psalm 23:4 (NKJV)

As much as we enjoy the leadings of the Good Shepherd, it does not suggest we will not be confronted by challenges.

This is the reason the Shepherd is also the protector and defense of the flock.

To walk in the valley of the shadow of death, is to be overwhelmed or hedged in and surrounded by some dark experience intended to create fear of destruction. This “valley of the shadow of death” is not the dwelling or destination of the sheep. When you find yourself in such situations, know that you are not dwelling there. You walk through it!
The “shadow of death” speaks of the “grave” (figuratively calamity). Well, in the midst of such situations, you have a greater assurance.
You are under the care of the Good Shepherd. His presence with you is your confidence and audacity.
Don’t get troubled and feel threatened because you are confronted by a difficult situation. Yours is to trust the GOOD SHEPHERD.
In your most difficult moments, who do you speak to?

From the first verses of Psalm 23, the Psalmist was addressing his readers, and referred to the Shepherd as the third person – “HE”.

But from verse 4, David begins to refer to the Shepherd in the second person – “YOU”.

He was no longer addressing his readers, he was now addressing his Shepherd.
This reveals how David turned to his Shepherd in his most difficult times.
He makes the Lord his consciousness.
The Lord’s presence does not necessarily eradicate the challenges and the dangers of the adversary. However, the Lord’s presence is the haven of care and defense for you in the midst of the most evil situation.

You may definitely be faced with some challenges and situations which seem difficult, DON’T FEAR ANY EVIL. The adversary may even attempt to cast thoughts of a worse scenario on your mind; but refuse to accept those thoughts.

    Refuse to be discouraged.

Refuse to be afraid for the LORD IS WITH YOU.
Maybe the Lord leads you into a marriage, or to start a business or ministry, and suddenly everything seems to go bad. Refuse to fear evil.
In your family, marriage, business, finances, ministry, career pursuit and journey of success, REMAIN RESOLUTE WITH THIS CERTAINTY THAT THE LORD IS WITH YOU.

You cannot end up as a failure. Don’t accept those thoughts of fear. You will come out of that valley of the shadow of death as a victor!

Remember the RESURRECTION ABILITY OF CHRIST is at WORK IN YOU. Jesus defeated death for you to enjoy the fullness of His life.
You have conquered all powers of death.
    Walk in victory!

    FEAR NO EVIL.
