Get this, God did not make you a King and a Priest (Revelation 1:6), just for you to enjoy the luxury and extravagance of divine royalty and Christ’s love. We are made Kings and Priests in Christ to be involved in the assignment of the Kingdom. But the question is, HOW ARE YOU INVOLVED?
    Apostle Bennie
    Author

You don’t have to fake or pretend that you have the results, you must contend for it. To have results is a faith thing. You must contend and release your faith.

IT IS CALLED THE GOOD FIGHT OF FAITH!

Paul the apostle in his last epistle to Timothy made an affectionate heartthrob statement:

“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” 2 Timothy 4:7 (NKJV)

This fight of faith is a good, worthy and noble fight. It is to contend earnestly the glorious contest to guard the faith.

In Paul’s first epistle to Timothy, he instructed him to,

“Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.” 1 Timothy 6:12

As we have seen in the second epistle, Paul the apostle was instructing Timothy to do exactly what he was also doing. To have a fruitful experience of the faith, you must fight to express it. You must contend in faith.

Again he said, as part of his epistle to the Church in Philippi, “I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 3:14 (NKJV)

He has to press toward the goal because there were many things which may serve as limitations.

To press on and to contend for the results means you are not holding anything back. You have to fight, run and strive for the results.

In your attempt to achieve results, you may be confronted by trial.

“Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love Him.” (James 1:12).

You have to persevere as a good soldier.

As you are taking steps, you must remain resolute and daring. You have to press on against all odds to produce consistent Kingdom results.

    Glory to God!

    PRODUCE KINGDOM RESULTS 7 —

Remain In Life-Union with the LORD

“So you must remain in life-union with me, for I remain in life-union with you. For as a branch severed from the vine will not bear fruit, so your life will be fruitless unless you live your life intimately joined to mine”

    John 15:4 (TPT)

God doesn’t essentially place demands on His people. Before the Lord entrusts a responsibility to your hands, He supplies you with all you need to get the job done.

Of all the many things one needs to produce Kingdom results or to bear fruits, the most essential of them all is in the opening verse.

Beloved, your fruitfulness is dependent on the relationship you have with the Lord Jesus.

    You may:

Make a decision to do much more as a disciple of Jesus.

Be consumed with the Success of the Kingdom.

    Contend for the results.

Go all out and think possibility.

See yourself as the man for the job.

Be determined to be part of God’s mighty men in your generation.

However, what makes all these possible is the continuous supply of God’s ability in you.

Jesus didn’t just demand His disciples to bear fruits. He first introduced them to the means by which they would become fruitful.

As I have said before, it is great to be a tree of righteousness, however, it is always greater to be a branch in the Vine.

Jesus was clear in His instructions:

REMAIN IN LIFE UNION WITH ME!

You cannot bear kingdom fruits or produce Kingdom results without JESUS.

He wasn’t boasting when He said, without me you can do nothing (John 15:5). A life lived independent of Christ will always lead to fruitlessness.

How can a branch bear fruit when it is separated from the Vine?

The life of the branch is supplied by the tree or the Vine.

“I am the sprouting vine and you’re my branches. As you live in union with me as your source, fruitfulness will stream from within you—but when you live separated from me you are powerless.” John 15:5 (TPT).

To abide in the Vine (Jesus) is not just about becoming born again, but living an intimate life with Jesus. This is about you living a life fully dependent on Christ’s words. This is living a life of faith in Christ.

Galatians 2:20 summarizes the new birth (born again) experience:

“My old identity has been co-crucified with Messiah and no longer lives; for the nails of his cross crucified me with him. And now the essence of this new life is no longer mine, for the Anointed One lives his life through me—we live in union as one! My new life is empowered by the faith of the Son of God who loves me so much that he gave himself for me, and dispenses his life into mine Galatians 2:20 (TPT)

When you were born again, you were brought into union with Christ.
You became a branch in the Vine. Your life is in Christ.

Now you don’t have to live isolated from Him. For you cannot bear the fruits of Christ when you are not living in oneness with Him.

As you have come into Christ, you must journey more and more into the growth of your union with Him.

“In the same way you received Jesus our Lord and Messiah by faith, continue your journey of faith, progressing further into your union with him! Colossians 2:6 (TPT)

Though you are in union with Christ, you can progress deeper and deeper into Him. The deeper you go in your intimacy with the Lord, the richer you become in bearing consistent Kingdom fruits.

That was the difference between David and Saul’s entire army. They had all the skills and wished they had a way to defeat Goliath. But there was something they didn’t have, a strong relationship and revelation of God.

Your revelation of God is rooted in your communion with Him.

David was able to confront Goliath because he knew the Lord was with Him.

“Then David said to the Philistine, “You come to me with a sword, with a spear, and with a javelin. But I come to you in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied.” 1 Samuel 17:45 (NKJV)

As disciples of Jesus, we do nothing for the Lord without the Lord. Anything we do for Him is done with Him. He is our sufficient supply.

    Paul the apostle said:

“For this grace has made me a servant of the gospel of God, constantly doing the work of a priest, for I endeavor to present an acceptable offering to God; so that the non-Jewish people of the earth may be set apart and made holy by the Spirit of holiness. Now then, it is through my union with Jesus Christ, that I enjoy an enthusiasm and confidence in my ministry for God. Romans 15:16-17 (The Passion Translation).

In your intimate communion with Jesus, you produce greater results.

In this year of Kingdom Priesthood, maintain a deeper intimate relationship with the Lord Jesus, through the Word and the communion of the Holy Spirit; and your impact will be matchless.

    Hallelujah!

    I believe this blessed you.

    PRODUCE KINGDOM RESULTS 6 –

BE PART OF GOD’S MIGHTY MEN IN YOUR GENERATION

Ye did not choose me, but I chose you, and appointed you, that ye should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should abide: [so] that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, He may give it [to] you”

    John 15:16 (ASV)

If you have followed this series so far, you should be taking steps towards what God wants to accomplish through you. God didn’t bring you Salvation or get you born again to live an ordinary life.

God wants your life to be a demonstration of abundant fruitfulness.

As I have mentioned in previous episodes:

    1. You have to decide you will do much more as a disciple of Jesus.

    2. Be consumed with the Success of the Kingdom.

    3. Contend for results.

    4. Go all out and think possibility.

    5. See yourself as the man for the job.

Jesus said, “I chose you, and appointed you.”
God has made you special for His assignment. You were chosen in Him for good works which He has ordained that you walk in them. (Ephesians 2:10).
This is why you have to see yourself as the man for the job.

    6. Be determined to be part of God’s Mighty Men in your generation.

It is one thing to see yourself as the man for the job. And another thing altogether to become part of God’s mighty men within a generation. To be a mighty man is to be a person with exceptional and extraordinary results.

To be a mighty man is to bear bountiful fruits or produce extra results. It is to dare to do what others run from. When Jesus was ascending, He entrusted His Church mandate into the hands of His disciples. These were young but had the hearts of mighty men.

As Peter and John healed the cripple and were preaching about the power of Jesus, the Jewish leaders were angered. And were even left astonished, as they witnessed the bold courage of these disciples of Jesus. (Acts 4:13).

As you study the scriptures, you will notice how many people were added to the Church in Jerusalem, Samaria, Antioch, etc. Yet there were people who became outstanding and were noticed. These people became the mighty men who led the course of Christ in their generation.

God has not designed for some to bear more fruits or have greater results than others.

God has given each of us the measure of grace for our unique assignments.

“Yet grace [God’s undeserved favor] was given to each one of us [not indiscriminately, but in different ways] in proportion to the measure of Christ’s [rich and abundant] gift.” Ephesians 4:7 (Amplified Bible).

God does not discriminate. He doesn’t give more grace to one than the other. We all have grace according to the same measure of Christ’s gift.

You become a mighty man in the Kingdom by what you accomplish with the grace of God which you received.

Take note of Apostle Paul’s testimony:

“Yes, I am the most insignificant of all the apostles, unworthy even to be called an apostle, because I hunted down believers and persecuted God’s church. But God’s amazing grace has made me who I am! And his grace to me was not fruitless. In fact, I worked harder than all the rest, yet not in my own strength but God’s, for his empowering grace is poured out upon me. 1 Corinthians 15:9-10 (TPT).

    According to Paul the Apostle;

    –  he was the least, the most insignificant among the Apostles.

and also received the same grace which these apostles and leaders of the Church were given.

Yet he decided to be fruitful with the grace of God. He didn’t receive this grace to remain fruitless.

to become fruitful or to get results with the grace of God, he worked harder by the empowering grace of God.

he specifically stated that he worked harder than the rest, though they were empowered with the same grace.

God sees each of us as His mighty men. Therefore He empowers us with grace to work. What you accomplish is what ushers you into the reality of a mighty man of God in your generation.

Are you laboring with the grace of God or you are making excuses?

    Which steps are you taking?

Are you acting out the ideas God has given you?

    Or do you keep procrastinating?

Just as the mighty men of David were recognized by their bold or courageous accomplishments, even so, are you recognized to be part of God’s mighty men in your generation by the extraordinary results you produce.

The first three elite squads of David’s mighty men were not named because of how good-looking they were. These men were named in that elite squad because of their extraordinary accomplishments (See 2 Samuel 23:8-11).

    – Adino the Eznite, was included because he had killed eight hundred men at one time.

    – Eleazar the son of Dodo, the Ahohite, was one of the three mighty men with David when they defied the Philistines who were gathered there for battle, and the men of Israel had retreated. He arose and attacked the Philistines until his hand was weary, and his hand stuck to the sword. The Lord brought about a great victory that day, and the people returned after him only to plunder.

    – And after him was Shammah the son of Agee the Hararite. The Philistines had gathered together into a troop where there was a piece of ground full of lentils. So the people fled from the Philistines. But he stationed himself in the middle of the field, defended it, and killed the Philistines. So the Lord brought about a great victory.

These men were not automatically named mighty men of David. They demonstrated courage and went the extra mile to attain a place in David’s military set-up.

What are you known for in God’s Kingdom?

What comes to mind when your name is mentioned?

In Paul’s loving greetings, as he concludes his epistle to the Romans, he mentions some names and you will notice what those people mean in the Kingdom by the things Paul the apostle said about them.

“Now, let me introduce to you our dear and beloved sister in the faith, Phoebe, a shining minister of the church in Cenchrea. I am sending her with this letter and ask that you shower her with your hospitality when she arrives. Embrace her with honor, as is fitting for one who belongs to the Lord and is set apart for him. I am entrusting her to you, so provide her whatever she may need, for she’s been a great leader and champion for many—I know, for she’s been that for even me! Romans 16:1-2 (TPT)

This is the record of Phoebe in the Kingdom.

    – She’s a shining minister of the Church.
    – A great leader and champion of many, including Paul the apostle.
    – One amazing thing is that it was Phoebe who went to deliver this amazing life-transforming epistle to the Romans.

What a mighty lady of God. Imagine she was scared to deliver the Epistle to the Romans.
Imagine she got distracted, didn’t deliver this epistle and misplaced it.
We would have lost rich revelations of the Spirit.

Take a look at this couple as well:

“Give my love to Prisca and Aquila, my partners in ministry serving the Anointed One, Jesus, for they’ve risked their own lives to save mine. I’m so thankful for them, and not just I, but all the congregations among the non-Jewish Romans 16:3-4 (TPT)

Beloved, refuse to be an ordinary member of the body. Make a decision to achieve great things for the Lord.

Don’t hide the grace which the Lord has given you. Go and produce mighty results with the grace which you have received.

Through your courageous results, the Kingdom of God will expand and your sphere will experience great transformation.

    PRODUCE KINGDOM RESULTS 5

Ye did not choose me, but I chose you, and appointed you, that ye should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should abide: [so] that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, He may give it [to] you”

    John 15:16 (ASV)

To produce Kingdom results, I have mentioned in the previous episodes four key things (not according to any special order) you must do, these include:

    1. You have to make a decision you are going to do much more as a disciple of Jesus.

    2. Be consumed with the Success of the Kingdom.

    3. Contend for results.

    4. Go all out and think of possibilities.

The fifth key thing to do or note is that YOU ARE THE MAN FOR THE JOB.

Most believers assume they are not qualified to achieve Kingdom results. They even think if they don’t achieve the results, there are better people who will work effectively to achieve those results. Some also think the Kingdom will still advance without them, therefore they will live their lives and do what pleases them.

When Jesus told His disciples to bear fruit, He was speaking to them not only corporately but also individually.

He said, “I chose you, and appointed you.”

How Jesus chose and appointed His disciples gives a clear idea that He spoke to them individually.

    Jesus appointed His disciples individually.
This was why the Bible didn’t put the main disciples only in a group tag but clearly mentioned their names.

“At that time Jesus went to a mountain to pray. He spent the whole night in prayer to God.
When it was day, he called his disciples. He chose twelve of them and called them apostles. They were Simon (whom Jesus named Peter) and Simon’s brother Andrew, James, John, Philip, Bartholomew, Matthew, Thomas, James (son of Alphaeus), Simon (who was called the Zealot), Judas (son of James), and Judas Iscariot (who became a traitor).”
     Luke 6:12-16 (GOD’S WORD Translation)

This shows that these disciples were not just a number in a crowd. They were individual members with a personal relationship with Jesus. The Lord works with us corporately and also individually.
As the Good Shepherd, He said, “But the one who enters through the gate is the shepherd of the sheep. The gatekeeper opens the gate for him, and the sheep recognize his voice and come to him. He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out.” John 10:2-3 (NLT)

He knows and deals with you by name, even though you are within the sheepfold. For God to deal with you individually doesn’t also suggest He doesn’t deal with you within a fold. He has designed us uniquely to operate in His body, as individual members within a corporate body.

“For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ” 1 Corinthians 12:12 (ESV)

Now as a member of the body of Christ, you must be fruitful for the benefit of the whole body. Imagine your hands or legs refusing to be fruitful in your body. This will affect the effectiveness of your mobility.

You have to understand that God has placed you in His body with special responsibility. Your unfruitfulness is the unfruitfulness of the whole body. In the same way, your fruitfulness is the fruitfulness of the whole body.

God has made you special for His assignment.

Again Jesus said, “I am the sprouting vine and you’re my branches…” John 15:5 (TPT)

You noticed Jesus didn’t say to His disciples you are “my branch”?

Jesus said, “you’re my branches”, which means every individual disciple of Jesus is a branch. You are a branch, I am a branch, and the other disciple of Jesus is also a branch. We are all together as the branches of Christ Jesus. Each branch has the responsibility to bear fruits.

Don’t think producing results or bearing fruits is not your responsibility. Don’t hide in the crowd. God has made you special and given you a special grace for the good works which He has foreordained.

Beloved, you are the man for the job!

    Selah.

    PRODUCE KINGDOM RESULTS 4

Ye did not choose me, but I chose you, and appointed you, that ye should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should abide: [so] that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, He may give it [to] you”

    John 15:16 (ASV)

No disciple of Jesus is expected to be fruitless. Jesus called you to Himself that you will bear fruits which will remain. The fruits or results which you are to produce are not temporal results. They are results or fruits which must remain.

The word “remain” is the Greek word, “menō” which means “to continually dwell, stand or endure”.

Your fruits or results must endure the test of time. Such results don’t come by chance. They come by choice and genuine intentionality.

    1. You have to make a decision you are going to do much more as a disciple of Jesus.

    2. Be consummed with the Success of the Kingdom.

    3. Contend for results.

    4. Go all out and think possibilities.

When you think it is not possible you will not be able to activate the grace to get it done.

Most think of impossibility because they are conscious of failure. They think more of failing than succeeding. They set their minds on defeat rather than who God is and what He said.

Like the 10 spies of Moses. They failed to think about what God is able to do with them. And rather saw themselves as grasshoppers.

“But the men who had gone up with him said, “We are not able to go up against the people, for they are stronger than we.” And they gave the children of Israel a bad report of the land which they had spied out, saying, “The land through which we have gone as spies is a land that devours its inhabitants, and all the people whom we saw in it are men of great stature. There we saw the giants (the descendants of Anak came from the giants); and we were like grasshoppers in our own sight, and so we were in their sight.” Numbers 13:31-33 (NKJV)

There is a way defeat mentality makes you not reason with logic. When you observe the report of these spies of Moses you can notice inconsistencies in their thoughts.
How can a land flowing with milk and honey devour its inhabitants?

If the land devoured its inhabitants, how did the Amalekites, the Hittites, the Jebusites, the Amorites, and the Canaanites dwell there? These people were able to build fortified cities.

When these spies went to the land how were they able to survive? How was the land not able to devour them?

Caleb and Joshua had a different report.

When these people began to give their report (Numbers 13:2_-29), Caleb felt they were not going to produce the right sound, so he intercepted their report:

“Then Caleb quieted the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once and take possession, for we are well able to overcome it. Numbers 13:30 (NKJV).

These people went to the same land to spy on it, yet they came back with two different reports. One group thought they were grasshoppers, while the other saw their ability to overcome the land.

What you are able to do is always connected to your mindset. Beloved, your thoughts define your possessions.

The thoughts of fear will make you hold back and not dare to take a step forward.

Instead of the spies communicating the weaknesses of the inhabitants of the land, they were amplifying the things they thought were the strengths of these inhabitants.

When the Israelites heard the negative and doubtful news from the 10 spies they began to cry and rebel against the Lord (Numbers 14:1-4)

Again we see the mindset of Joshua and Caleb:

“But Joshua the son of Nun and Caleb the son of Jephunneh, who were among those who had spied out the land, tore their clothes; and they spoke to all the congregation of the children of Israel, saying: “The land we passed through to spy out is an exceedingly good land. If the Lord delights in us, then He will bring us into this land and give it to us, ‘a land which flows with milk and honey.’ Only do not rebel against the Lord, nor fear the people of the land, for they are our bread; their protection has departed from them, and the Lord is with us. Do not fear them.Numbers 14:6-9 (NKJV)

While the 10 spies saw giants,  Joshua and Caleb saw bread.

While the 10 saw themselves as grasshoppers, Joshua and Caleb saw themselves as possessors.

    How do you see yourself?

    Do you see possibilities?

The storms may come, the waters may roar, the mountains may be carried into the sea, don’t be afraid nor shaken. Remain resolute in the Lord. Remain confident in who God is and His ability. Look away from the trouble and look to God, who is your refuge and strength. Hallelujah!

    PRODUCE KINGDOM RESULTS 3 —

    Contend for the Results 2

“I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus”

    Philippians 3:14 (NKJV)

Jesus did not come to supply grace just to produce irresponsible believers.

Every disciple has a mandate to fulfill and a fruit to bear.
Being fruitless as a disciple of Jesus is not consistent with the intention of God. To bear fruits and to produce relevant kingdom results is not by chance. You have to make a choice to press on till you manifest the results.

Just because Christ is in you doesn’t mean the gospel of Jesus will spread in your city automatically. You must contend and wage warfare with the prophetic word to see lives changed.
You must take bold and determined steps to multiply the impact of the gospel within your city.

There are people who expect to see a word they’ve received from the Lord come to pass automatically. But it doesn’t work like that.
Every word must be put to work.
God told the Israelites He had given them the land for their possession. Yet for them to physically possess the land they have to fight to enforce the word of the Lord.

“At that time I gave this command to the tribes that would live east of the Jordan: ‘Although the LORD your God has given you this land as your property, all your fighting men must cross the Jordan ahead of your Israelite relatives, armed and ready to assist them.” Deuteronomy 3:18 (NLT)

Israel did not just walk into the land and announce to the occupants that this is our land, evacuate so we will peacefully settle down.
It doesn’t work like that, and it didn’t work like that.
Israel possessed the land promised to them by contending with their enemies. They knew the only way to occupy the land was by a fight to enforce the word of the Lord.

Only today’s believer thinks the enjoyment of His inheritance is automatic. There are always spiritual forces which will contend with the word of the Lord given to you.
You must not go to sleep, be ready for a fight.
CONTEND FOR THE RESULTS. DON’T SETTLE FOR LESS.

Christ’s mighty power is at work in you, to enable you to contend strenuously.

The goal of Paul the apostle was to present every man perfect in Christ Jesus.

To accomplish this, he had to exude God’s might. It wasn’t going to happen by accident.

“We proclaim Him, warning and instructing everyone in all wisdom [that is, with comprehensive insight into the word and purposes of God], so that we may present every person complete in Christ [mature, fully trained, and perfect in Him–the Anointed]. For this I labor [often to the point of exhaustion], striving with His power and energy, which so greatly works within me.”

Paul the apostle of the grace of God, established this reality all through His epistles to the Churches.

Impact doesn’t just happen. To see the results you must contend. To bear the fruits you must labor with what God has deposited inside you.

    It is a fight!
It is according to the force of the Spirit and the determination of your heart.
It is great to be content. However, contentment is not the opposite of contending. Contentment is not mediocrity and passivity. You must be content with what God has given you. And you contend to achieve greater results with what you have in you.

    Don’t give up.
Press on until you reach your goal.
    Hallelujah!

    WE PRAY
Pray that we shall have the determination of heart and exercise the wisdom of God to contend with all the resources supplied by God to us to produce great results this year.
