GOD IS FAITHFUL TO KEEP YOU
“He will keep you strong to the end so that you will be free from all blame on the day when our Lord Jesus Christ returns.”
1 Corinthians 1:8 (NLT)
God did not save you to leave you halfway. The salvation of our Lord Jesus is not partial.
He did a complete work. Jesus satisfied all the demands of justice in His death, and He brought forth the Newness of life.
The salvation which you received in Christ is always dependent on God’s faithfulness.
The faithfulness of God is God upholding the integrity of His words. It is the demonstration of His trustworthiness.
Your salvation is eternal and shall not be lost or erased at the coming of the Lord, because God is faithful.
He is a good keeper! What is with Him or in His hands shall not be lost.
The Lord Jesus said:
“My own sheep will hear my voice and I know each one, and they will follow me. I give to them the gift of eternal life and they will never be lost, and no one has the power to snatch them out of my hands. My Father, who has given them to me as his gift, is the mightiest of all, and no one has the power to snatch them from my Father’s care. The Father and I are one.” John 10:27-30 (TPT)
When God says He will keep you to the end, it is His personal commitment. Nothing can take you out of His hands.
Paul the apostle reiterated the words of Jesus:
“He will keep you strong to the end so that you will be free from all blame on the day when our Lord Jesus Christ returns. God will do this, for He is faithful to do what he says, and he has invited you into partnership with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.” 1 Corinthians 1:8-9 (NLT).
Glory to God!
God’s word does not return to Him void. Whatever He says is true and shall come to pass.
The moment He said, “…whosoever believe in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life”, His faithfulness was activated in that word. The moment you believed in the Lord Jesus, God has no choice but to be faithful to His word. He will keep you to the end.
This was Paul’s confidence:
“being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 1:6).
The first-century believers also had this same confidence:
“Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you unblemished in His glorious presence, with great joy” (Jude 1:24)
You must have this same confidence in God. He is faithful to keep you to the end.
You are not to be afraid of the future; the Lord is faithful.
He is faithful, therefore, “before you do anything, put your trust totally in God and not in yourself. Then every plan you make will succeed.” Proverbs 16:3 (TPT)
