TURN TO GOD — AND BEHOLD HIS HELP

“Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God”

Hebrews 12:2 (Berean Standard Bible)

God’s heart towards His people is never to destroy them but to bring them to His Salvation.

That is the focus of the entire Bible. He desires that all men shall be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth. (1 Timothy 2:3-4).

However, God doesn’t force His provision of Grace or Salvation on mankind. He only supplies His grace. But it is only by His supply of Grace that men shall be saved.

To reject God’s Salvation is to reject your deliverance from destruction.

What this means is that, to enjoy what the Lord supplies, one has to turn to Him by faith.

That is exactly what Noah did.

Noah built an ark because He had faith in God. If the people believed the testimony of Noah, they would have also been delivered from the flood.
When you turn to God, you receive and enjoy His supply of Grace by faith.

The Exodus of the Israelites from Egypt ultimately began after their first passover experience.

Read here to understand the revelation of the Passover.

Their obedience to the instruction of Moses concerning the passover was an action of faith towards God’s provision. This act of faith delivered them from death. Their journey through the wilderness was also to be a continuous demonstration of faith towards God.

And that was what God kept teaching them all through their journey in the wilderness.

In our journey through this perverse, corrupt and evil world, God wants us to set our gaze on Him. No matter the wrongs you make, your way out is to turn to the Lord and to behold Him.

When the Israelites were attacked by fierce serpents in the wilderness (because of their disobedience), God’s answer was for them to behold the revelation of His Salvation.

“And Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it upon a pole, and it came to pass, that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he beheld the serpent of brass, he lived.”

Serpent is also a symbol of deception and corruption in the scriptures.(Matthew 12:4; Revelation 12:9)

Brass (or bronze) is a symbol of judgement. The brazen altar (of the temple, see Exodus 27:1-8; Exodus 29:38) was a typology of the cross of Jesus, where the judgement of sin was executed.

The brazen serpent was a typology of God’s salvation for mankind through Jesus.

As long as the people beheld the brazen serpent, they were healed. The brazen serpent was a testimony to them that the penalty of their transgression had been paid, so they must be healed and live.

Jesus on the cross was made sin (2 Corinthians 5:21), and took upon Himself the judgement of sin.
He said concerning His death,

“And just as Moses in the desert lifted up the brass replica of a snake on a pole for all the people to see and be healed, so the Son of Man is ready to be lifted up, so that those who truly believe in him will not perish but be given eternal life” John 3:13-14 (TPT)

This is the goodnews to all mankind.

Jesus has paid for your sins; look away from your weaknesses and failures. Turn to God and behold His Salvation.

Hallelujah!

Deception,Sin, setbacks have all been nailed through Jesus. He became man so that he can bore all the aspect of man that causes weakness because in his Godly state it is impossible to do that I.e God is incorruptible
He became corruptible that he will nail that state on the cross so the Incorruptible God will give him life through the Spirit into incorruptibility so that we who believe will also have an inward transformation into that state Jesus is now in. For now he has become our life so why do we look at our old self which is corrupted (weakness and challenge)and dead but look away from our very life who is Jesus (Gal 2:20)
For he is the only way out of any short comings

Jesus on the cross was made sin (2 Corinthians 5:21), and took upon Himself the judgement of sin.

He has dealt with Sin.. hence, sin has dominion over me..

Hebrews 9:28 TPT

[28] But when we die we will be face-to-face with Christ, the One who experienced death once for all to bear the sins of many! And now to those who eagerly await him, he will appear a second time; not to deal with sin, but to bring us the fullness of salvation.

John.8.12 Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.” (NKJV)

Having Jesus is having the light of life. It is not self-made effort but God’s provision of Grace bringing us to Himself.

Thank you Lord Jesus!

This is a glorious news!
Jesus Himself said these amazing things, “Just as Moses lifted up the Brazen serpent in the wilderness, so the son of man ready to be lifted that all who truly believe in Him will be healed/saved”
This truly shows that the cross is actually God’s judgement on Sin.
And the declaration of man’s righteousness!
This is something to shout about!
Jesus truly brought us salvation..and His salvation message has been preached from ages past by God, men and Angels!

This matter is a sweet one!
All must hear it

Thank you, Lord Jesus
