EPISODE 844 – THE GOSPEL TRANSFORMS
CHRIST COMMONWEALTH-COMMUNITY
The Love-Life Agency

When you make time to speak to God, He will show you things you do not know. As a result, making time to pray and ministering unto the Lord cannot be overemphasised. Selah.

THE GOSPEL TRANSFORMS
“For I am not ashamed of this Good News about Christ. It is the power of God at work, saving everyone who believes—the Jew first and also the Gentile”
Romans 1:16 (NLT)
It is not any message at all that brings salvation.
Salvation is in the gospel of Jesus.
When you see and hear the evil and the wrongs going on with people in this generation, you may be tempted to think it is the preaching of condemnation, which will get people saved from their evil ways.
Telling people how wrong and evil they are is not what brings salvation.
This is not to say, you may not have to help people realise their wrongs and their need for salvation. There are people whose eyes have been blinded, and they easily justify and defend their wrongs and evil ways.
Truly, Jesus did not justify any wrongs. Jesus made justification available for all men who believe.
However, you need to get this, the message which brings salvation is not the declaration of the wrongs of people.
The message which brings true Salvation is not telling people about the horror of hell. Nobody has to receive Jesus on the grounds of fear.
He came to bring Salvation on the grounds of love (John 3:16).
The gospel is not the declaration of the wrongs you see.
The gospel (goodnews) is what God has done for us through Christ Jesus.
I heard someone tell another fellow concerning the preaching of the gospel.
And was like, “it is not about the message you preach, it is how you get someone saved by all means.”
No, that is wrong.
Beloved in Christ, the Lord did not just give us the ministry of reconciliation; He also gave the message of reconciliation.
“Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation “. 2 Corinthians 5:18-19 (NKJV)
Alright, see how 2 Corinthians 5:18-19 is presented in the Living Bible:
“All these new things are from God who brought us back to himself through what Christ Jesus did. And God has given us the privilege of urging everyone to come into his favor and be reconciled to him. For God was in Christ, restoring the world to himself, no longer counting men’s sins against them but blotting them out. This is the wonderful message he has given us to tell others.”
You didn’t come into a relationship with God or experience Sonship in Christ, by your self efforts.
You were not saved by your self-efforts or what you did by the works of legalism.
It was what Jesus did in His death and resurrection that got you saved. He died as the lamb of God for the forgiveness of your sins.
The message is Christ and His work through His death and resurrection. (Read more on this from previous episodes)
The gospel is the light of the knowledge of God in the face of Jesus.
Why then do you proclaim darkness if men are yearning and are in need of LIGHT?
The gospel is the reality of Jesus whom we preach. Preaching and teaching the goodnews of Jesus is the ministry of Righteousness. It points men to JESUS and not to their defeated and beaten past and corruptibility.
The ministry of condemnation points men to their weaknesses.
It is more revealing and life-transforming to preach Christ than to preach the crisis of the now.
When you come to the true knowledge of the gospel of Christ and your mind is saturated with the grace of God, you will live right.
Right living is the product of the reality of Christ’s goodnews in your heart.
Hallelujah!

WE PRAY
That doors shall be opened for the teaching and preaching of the transforming power of the gospel in all places.

– The gospel of Jesus spreads through me.
– I make the goodnews of Jesus my focus.

The Gospel of Jesus spreads through me in the mighty name of Jesus!!!
I experience the transforming power of the Gospel dailyyyy
Ohh Thank You Jesus!!!!!
This is such a refreshing writeup!
We don’t proclaim darkness but we bring men to Light….
Thank You Lord Jesus for giving us both the ministry and the message of reconciliation!
Glory be to God
Hallelujah 🙌
As I was reading, when I got to the point where Apostle mentioned that someone once said, “it is not about the message you preach but how you get someone save at all cost”, I begun to see how even believers in Christ need to be enlightened in the Gospel of Grace.
How do you get a soul saved without preaching Christ and His finished work?
Any other means aside the Gospel becomes a pseudo Gospel and lacks the efficacy to save and transform a soul.
Thank you Lord Jesus for the word that sets us on the right path🙏🙌
Glory to God for I know the gospel 🥳🙇🏻♀️💃
Thank you lord Jesus
The gospel is what God has done to you through Christ. It’s built on the love of God not on fear.
I experience the transforming power of the gospel
We must note that the ministry of reconciliation is complete by the message without the message of reconciliation there is no ministry of reconciliation and this message is not to point of the wrongs of men
Preaching condemnation to men is like a directing a dirty person to go and bath in mud but to preach the message of Jesus how he has loved us and is not calling our sins against us but is calling us into oneness and fellowship is giving people pure water to wash themselves
If people get born again by preaching condemnation they didn’t accept Jesus but condemnation and fear the Gospel is not a forceful rhythm people must dance to it at their own will and. Joy
I make the good news of Jesus my focus.
Hallelujah
