LIVE AS ONE SENT BY GOD TO LEAD HIS GENERATION
“Therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into His harvest”
Matthew 9:38 (Legacy Standard Bible)
As a New Creation in Christ, you have the mandate to lead your generation.
God has called and chosen you to lead many into purpose.
This call to leadership is an answered prayer.
Let’s take a look at what Jesus said:
“And seeing the crowds, He felt compassion for them, because they were distressed and downcast like sheep without a shepherd. Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into His harvest.“ Matthew 9:36-38 (LSB)
When Jesus saw the multitudes, He saw the deep challenge of divine leadership. They were as sheep without a shepherd.
And asked that prayers be made to the Lord of the harvest so that more workers or labourers could be sent. These workers are going to serve as shepherds to give direction and purpose to the multitudes.
However, they have to be sent by the Lord of the harvest.
Now, as many of us in Christ have been appointed by the Lord to be Kingdom ministers or kingdom leaders to lead the nations unto God’s agenda.
That is why in Christ:
1. You have been made a king and a Priest (Revelation 1:6).
2. A light bearer (Matthew 5:15, MSG).
3. You are made righteous. To be made the righteousness of God in Christ is not only for you to have right standing with God. To be made righteous is for you to reign as a king. Righteousness is the scepter of the Kingdom. (Hebrews 1:8).
As many that receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life as Kings (Romans 5:17).
Leadership is a core element of your newness of life. You are not called to live for yourself and to satisfy your own desires. You are called into Christ, given authority, to function as a Kingdom Leader, where you influence many unto divine purpose.
Beloved, you didn’t choose the Lord; He chose you and appointed you to go forth and bear fruit.
Live as one sent by God to lead His generation.

Righteousness is not only about having a right stand with God but also to reign as a king since righteousness is the scepter of the kingdom.
