STEWARDS OF GOD’S RESOURCES 8
“So then each of us shall give account of himself to God.”Â
Romans 14:16 (NKJV)
There are many who want to be known as faithful stewards by how they manage other resources of God. They don’t consider themselves as God’s resource to be managed.
If you are reading this and you still think that way, I will recommend you to read the previous episode of Machaira with Apostle Bennie.
You have to know that your life is an investment of God for the expansion of His Kingdom.
You will find true meaning in life when you use your life to serve God’s Kingdom mission and to express His glory.
The concept of God’s stewardship is not only how you take care of things and also utilize these things for the purpose of God; the concept of God’s Stewardship first begins with how you take care of yourself and also live to serve His purpose.
You belong to God and He has graciously made you a steward of your life.
Your entire being is the first and the most important investment of God for His Kingdom. And as a steward, you will one day make an account to God, as to how you lived your life to serve His purpose.
Â
“For we are His workmanship [His own master work, a work of art], created in Christ Jesus [reborn from above—spiritually transformed, renewed, ready to be used] for good works, which God prepared [for us] beforehand [taking paths which He set], so that we would walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us].” Ephesians 2:10 (Amplified Bible)
As a steward of the life God has given you, it is important to walk according to the path God has set for you. You can’t live contrary to what God has ordained for you and be counted as a faithful steward.
Just as God’s resources must be used for His purpose as He has prearranged, even so must you live according to what the Lord has prearranged.
The arrangement of God for your life is to bring you to a successful end. God has designed your life for His glory.
Whatever you do must bring glory to Him. He made your entire being for His service.
After God brought Israel out of Egypt and led them further to possess the promised land (through the investment of His power or enormous strength and wisdom), Moses stood before the assembly of Israel and addressed them saying:
“So now Israel, what do you think God expects from you? Just this:Â Live in his presence in holy reverence, follow the road he sets out for you, love him, serve God, your God, with everything you have in you“Â Deuteronomy 10:12 (The Message)
To serve God with everything you have in you is also to serve the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul. It is to serve Him with every potential the Lord has deposited inside you.
Moses the Prophet of God, went on to explain to the congregation of Israel why they have to serve the LORD with everything in them:
“Look around you: Everything you see is God’s—the heavens above and beyond, the Earth, and everything on it.” Deuteronomy 10:14 (The Message)
As we have been discussing in previous episodes:
Whatever you have belongs to God, including your life and must be used for God’s glory.
Never be part of those who make claims like; “My life is mine and can decide to do whatever I want to do with it”.
Some also go like, “My money is mine and can spend it how I want”.
Whether you live diligently as a steward or not, a time will come when you will definitely give an account of yourself to God.
Will you be reckoned as a good and faithful steward?
Selah.
– I am a faithful steward.Â
My very life is Jesus and I am a slave purchased by him with his blood
I don’t do my will but his
What ever I have he is the source I don’t own anything
I am a steward of God, whatever I do bring honor to God
I walk according to the path God has set for me
The arrangement of God for my life is to bring me to a successful end. God has designed my life for His glory.
Whatever I do brings glory to God
I serve God with everything I have in me
I shall diligently serve the Lord and give good account.
I bring glory to God
I serve the purpose of God
Having come to the knowledge that my life and living is for the glory of God, I apply my heart to wisdom to live according to the pre arranged life of God for me.
For I am His workmanship [His own master work, a work of art], created in Christ Jesus [reborn from above—spiritually transformed, renewed, ready to be used] for good works, which God prepared [for us] beforehand [taking paths which He set], so that we would walk in them [living the good life which
He prearranged and made ready for us].
My bread is to do the will of He who brought me forth and to finish well.
Oh thank you Lord Jesus for finding the best in me.
Oooh serve my Master even in adversity!!
I use myself, and all I have for His kingdom mission. I don’t own myself; I was bought at a price. Hallelujah!
I declare in the name of Jesus that I live according to the Lord’s prearranged path set before me
I live to serve God’s purpose
I walk in God’s predestined path for me
My life brings glory to God
I am going to be counted as a faithful steward in the day of accountability
Glory to God
