SHINE ETERNALLY AS THE STARS
“Those who manifest wisdom will shine like the brightness of the expanse of heaven, and those who turn many to righteousness will shine like the stars forever and ever.”
Daniel 12:3 (ISV)
A true shining star in the Kingdom is the one who turns many unto righteousness.
From the opening verse, you will realize there is no ending to the shining and brightness of those who turn many unto righteousness.
The verse points to what shall be when all things have been consummated. It is a prophetic scripture which brings us to the realization of events at the end of things.
“And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book. And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars forever and ever.” Daniel 12:1-3 (KJV)
The wise are those who will receive the Lord. And those who will shine eternally as stars have not only turned to righteousness or received the Lord, but have also laboured to turn many to righteousness.
The assignment is clearly defined: TURN MANY UNTO RIGHTEOUSNESS.
This is what Jesus came to do, to get many saved (to turn them unto righteousness); and now He has entrusted this assignment unto our care.
“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.” 2 Corinthians 5:17-19 (KJV).
We have been given the mandate and the message to reconcile many unto God.
It doesn’t matter your profession or social responsibility, you have a kingdom mandate to turn many unto righteousness.
This is the role of the wise in the Kingdom (Proverbs 11:30).
God desires that all men may be saved and come to the knowledge of Christ ( 1 Timothy 2:4).
You are the light of the world, let your light shine; get many saved unto the glory of God.
