DISCIPLESHIP, ESSENTIAL IN BEARING FRUITS (ABUNDANT FRUIT-BEARERS 13)

” You have not chosen Me, but I have chosen you and I have appointed and placed and purposefully planted you, so that you would go and bear fruit and keep on bearing, and that your fruit will remain and be lasting, so that whatever you ask of the Father in My name [as My representative] He may give to you.” (John 15:16 Amplified Bible)

From the previous discussion, we have seen that bearing fruits include establishing the souls in the community of the saints. To establish the newly saved in the community of the saints is not to leave them with the responsibility to choose a “Bible Believing Church”.

When you get people saved, direct them to a specific Church in their locality where they will be nurtured and raised. It is best to get them to where you are being taught and raised in the consistent knowledge of Christ.

Jesus’ command to us in Matthew 28:19-20 says:
Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

You see here that Jesus didn’t only command us to go and get others to believe in Him and accept or receive His life. Jesus’ command was focused on making disciples. The people you reach out to must be taught. This is the only way your fruits will remain and last.
You first make disciples by getting others saved, and
then you culture and raise them into the full knowledge of Christ.

The purpose of discipleship is so that others can fully function in the body of Christ.

A disciple is a person under training. To make disciples is to make students (bringing them up in the Knowledge of Christ). A disciple is a person trained or cultured to be a presentation of the Lord. It is the lifelong
process of accepting God’s invitation to grow up and
mature to the full stature of Christ through a spiritual leader in the Faith, who is sound in the doctrine of Christ.

A disciple is willing and open to be raised, guided, or trained in a specific direction. Unequivocally stating, this is an intentional commitment.

God desires that all
men should be saved and come to the Knowledge of the truth, through consistent discipleship (See 1 Timothy 2:4).
Also, it is essential that if Christ Jesus has saved you, you must submit yourself unto training. You don’t grow in isolation. You don’t stay in your closet thinking you are having fellowship with God. It is great to spend time with God in your closet. However, you don’t grow effectively in isolation. You can’t be more spiritual than God, who has commanded us to be disciples. The revelation of His Word opens our hearts to the necessity of submitting one to another.

And through consistent discipleship, we multiply our fruits. For as you raise a saved soul, he or she will also be equipped to bear more fruits unto God’s glory.

Don’t break the cycle of multiplication. If you have saved a soul, get them to Church, where they will be trained through Christ-centered discipleship.

Are you also saved? Submit to Christ-centered discipleship in the Church where the Lord has planted you.

DIG DEEPER
( 2 Timothy 2:2; 1 Timothy 2:4;
Acts 5:12 ; 14, Acts 2;41-47)

WE PRAY
That every soul we have saved, will be planted in the Church and submit to the discipleship designed by the Lord.
