ALIVE TO GOD IN CHRIST
Likewise you also, reckon yourselves to be dead indeed to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:11 (NKJV)
Â
Most people who ask the question, “Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound?” seek for reason to accuse the gospel.
However, Paul asked the question rhetorically to bring to his readers the hardcore truth of the gospel.
After explaining the participation of those who are saved, in the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus; he established the reality that as you are saved, you should reckon yourself dead to sin.
You don’t reckon yourself dead to sin because you first lived right. You don’t reckon yourself dead to sin according to your good works.
You reckon yourself dead to sin on the grounds of how Christ died to sin and defeated sin once and for all.
I explained yesterday that Jesus did not only die FOR you. He died also WITH you.
This is the testimony for all men, that Christ died for them. Therefore salvation is available for all men.
However, when one comes to believe in Jesus and received salvation, he or she is identified with Christ.
The testimony of the saved is that, his or her old man and nature died with Christ. And now in Christ he or she is a new creation.
Now see these two verses:
2 Corinthians 5:17 and Galatians 2:20.
2 Corinthians 5:17 (Amplified).
Â
” Therefore if anyone is in Christ [that is, grafted in, joined to Him by faith in Him as Savior], he is a new creature [reborn and renewed by the Holy Spirit]; the old things [the previous moral and spiritual condition] have passed away. Behold, new things have come [because spiritual awakening brings a new life].”
See Galatians 2:20 (TPT):
Â
” My old identity has been co-crucified with Messiah and no longer lives; for the nails of his cross crucified me with him. And now the essence of this new life is no longer mine, for the Anointed One lives his life through me— *we live in union as one! My new life is empowered by the faith of the Son of God who loves me so much that he gave himself for me, and dispenses his life into mine”
Â
So when you got saved you were united with Christ. And the old man was crucified with Christ on the cross. The old wretched nature of sin, died with Christ.
Let’s also take a look at Romans 6:5-13
Â
” For if we have been united together in the likeness of His death, certainly we also shall be in the likeness of His resurrection, knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin.” (vv 5-6)
Â
You can see here again, that as you were united together in the death of Jesus, your old man, who was the embodiment of sin was crucified with Christ.
Now if you are in Christ you don’t have the nature of sin in your spirit. You are a new creation, and you share in the likeness of the resurrection of Jesus. You have the new life of Christ. This life is not a slave controlled by sin.
Â
” For he who has died has been freed from sin. Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with Him, knowing that Christ, having been raised from the dead, dies no more. Death no longer has dominion over Him. For the death that He died, He died to sin once for all; but the life that He lives, He lives to God. Likewise you also, reckon yourselves to be dead indeed to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus our Lord. (vv 7-11)
Â
Now from the revelation of scriptures, you understand that Jesus died to sin once and for all and lives unto God forever.
Therefore, because you are identified with Christ in His death, you are also alive to God in Christ once and for all.
When you were made alive in God in Christ, it was not with the nature of sin. The nature of sin was terminated in the death of Jesus. Therefore you are dead to sin and alive to God in Christ Jesus, with the nature of righteousness.
You did not become alive to yourself and the legalism of Moses.
You were made alive to God in Christ with the nature of righteousness.
It means now you must live according to the dominion of righteousness in you. You are no longer under the influence of sin, because the power of His resurrection has produced the righteousness of God in Christ in you.
Hallelujah!
DIG DEEPER:
(2 Corinthians 5:16-17,21; Romans 6:1-15; Galatians 2:17-21; Ephesians 2:1-6)
Â
WE PRAY
That we will live according to the dominion of righteousness in us.

BIBLE READING

DECLARE THESE WORDS:
– I am now quickened unto life.
– The life of Christ is at work in me.
– I am dead to sin and alive unto God.
– Sin has no dominion over me. I am the righteousness of God in Christ.
– I live above every negative addiction.
– I cannot be influenced by the lust of sin, because I am a slave of righteousness.
OH Hallelujah, GLORY TO GOD!
Gloreyyy. I am dead to sin and alive unto God. I cannot be influenced by the list of sin because I am a slave to righteousness. Thank You Dear Lord Jesus.

My old identity has been crucified with Christ through the nails he was nailed with.
I am freed from sin because I have died.
I reckon myself dead indeed to sin and alive into God.
Glory to God.
My old life was crucified with Jesus.
I am indeed free from sin.
Sin has no power or dominion over me.
GLORY TO GOD
I live according to the dominion of righteousness in me
Glory to God
AWW, GLORY TO GOD.
I LIVE ACCORDING TO THE DOMINION OF RIGHTEOUSNESS IN ME
I’m a new creation that is no longer a slave to sin but a slave to righteousness. Now I’m made alive to God in Christ and his righteousness…

Gloreeeeey
I am dead to sin and alive unto God.
Sin has no dominion over me. I am the righteousness of God in Christ.
Thank you Lord Jesus
Sin cannot have dominion over me.;
Glory to God
Judges 21, versus 25, Israel didn’t have a ruler at that time. People carried out their personal preferences.
Amazingly, the Israelites acted as they pleased when they had no king.
Indeed, leaders have a very special impact on our lives.
We are grateful that Apostle Benjamin Amissah Ansah is leading us as our leader.
I am alive to God in righteousness and dead to sin.
Christ DIED NOT JUST FOR ME, however. Christ perished along with me.
Spiritual awakening has changed me into a new creature in Christ.
I also died to sin once and for all, and I am now always alive to the LORD, just as Christ once and for all died to sin, and is now alive to the LORD.
The death of JESUS CHRIST put an end to sin’s nature.
It is so amazing that even though we were dead to sin, Christ loved us and we died with him in Faith, and when He resurrected, we resurrected with Him.
At first, we were led astray by our own cravings and selfish and lustful desires but now we are being made alive in Christ Jesus.
As death has no power over JESUS, so do I.
Please I have a question
Ephesians 44 verses 22 to 24 say
Ephesians 4:22-24 In-Context
22 Put off your old nature which belongs to your former manner of life and is corrupt through deceitful lusts, 23 and be renewed in the spirit of your minds, 24 and put on the new nature, created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness.
So my question is do we have to consciously put it off by our effort or through faith?
If it is through faith, how is that possible?
In the name of Jesus
I am dead to sin. I have risen with Christ. I am alive to God.
My old man is crucified. I live the life of Christ.
Thank You Jesus
The Judges book has been very thrilling.
Twelve figures who are referred to as “judges” of Israel are mentioned in the Book of Judges: Othniel, Ehud, Shamgar, Deborah, Gideon, Tola, Jair, Jephthah, Ibzan, Elon, Abdon, and Samson.
My favorite figures were Samson, Deborah, Gideon, and Jephthah.
Deborah because she was considered to be the only female judge when Israel was in charge of capturing Canaan. God has appointed you to serve as a judge in your generation, young chayil girls out there.
Priest of the kingdom you are.
Gideon, because despite the fact that he believed himself to be weak, God used him to accomplish great things. God can transform someone who is least expected into a giant in order to display His glory.
Wow, brother Jephthah just showed up and vowed to the Lord to kill anything that came to meet him after he won, including himself.
He had no idea that it was her sole virgin daughter.
Quite intriguing, huh?
Samson, a highly well-known figure, was created to free the Israelites from the Philistines, but in the course of his mission, he became enamored with the lovely Delilah, who he tricked into revealing her about the source of his power.
The incredible thing is that despite everything, he managed to finish off hundreds of philistines before passing away. Such a man.
Thank you, Apostle, for the direction you are taking our daily Bible reading.
We are ready sir for the next book
A wonderful blessing, YOU ARE MIGHTY BLESSING
I am made alive to God in Christ with the nature of righteousness.
Hallelujah
I am a slave to righteousness
I refuse to be influenced by the lust of sin
I reckon myself dead indeed to sin and alive to God. I have the life of God in me. Glory to God for this incorruptible life.
Gloreey I am a slave of righteousness
My old self was crucified, the sinful body, and resurrected with Christ as a new individual. Therefore I have wthr resurrection life of Jesus. Am dead to sin and alive in righteousness .
I’m dead to sin and alive in God.
Oh Gloreeeey!!!!
I do not fustrate the grace of God.
For if righteousness come by the law,
Then Christ is dead in vain.
Christ death is not in vain.
Because I’m a of righteousness.
Glory to God!
I’m free
I’ve been bought with an expensive blood
I am a new creation
Death has no power over me
Dead to din but quicken in righteousness. My Spirit is Christ.
No guilt of sin anymore, no consciousness of condemnation.
I have the life of Christ reigning in my members .
Thank you Jesus
