BEARING THE RIGHT FRUITS 1 (ABUNDANT FRUIT-BEARERS 5)
” Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.” John 15:4-5 (NKJV)
Â
Beloved, anything that is unto God’s glory has to be determined and designed by God. Whatever you do, as one called of God, must be according to His pattern and design. You don’t squeeze to create a system of impact which is not programmed by God.
It is God who called us to bear much fruit. And our fruit-bearing is unto His glory.
Your impact and fruits become mondaine when it is not by God’s design and unto God’s glory.
The fruits you bear must be the fruits our Lord has determined that we bear.
The kind of fruits you bear is according to the kind of Vine; not according to the kind of branch.
One branch of a vine does not bear fig fruits, whiles the other branch of the same vine bears olive fruits.
When the Vine is an Olive Tree, it will bear Olive fruits.
Therefore, we don’t assume the kind of fruit to bear. We must bear the fruits, Christ bore.
Â
As we continue in this discussion, we will see:
Â
a. exactly the kind of fruits we bear as disciples of Jesus.
b. How we can bear much more fruits.
c. The quality and longevity of our fruits through Christ.
In the opening verses of today’s Machaira, we see the Lord instructing His disciples to:
Â
Abide In Him… and He who abides in Him, bears much fruits.
Â
This reveals how we bear much fruits and also the kind of fruits we are to bear.
According to John 15:5, we are the branches. To be a branch means you are an off-shoot of the Vine. And the Father prunes us to bear much fruits. The fruits we bear are the out-forming of what the Vine has supplied to us (the branches).
The question is, what has the Lord supplied to Us?
(Take note, the scriptures are not written in chapters and verses. They were put in chapters and verses for easy reference.)
All through John 13 to John 15 we see the Lord, addressing similar things with different expressions. However, each of them transmits new dimension of divine light.
To know what the Lord has supplied to us, we must know what it means to abide in the Vine.
The Lord Himself tells us what it means to abide in Him in the same chapter of John 15.      See verse 9:
Â
” As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love “
Â
To abide in the Lord, as the Vine, is also to abide in His love.
This reveals what the Lord has supplied to us, yes, His LOVE.
Therefore, the Love of Christ is part of the fruits we bear.
The fruits we bear are broad and extensive.
Remain in the Vine as we show forth the riches of His love to others.

Â
WE PRAY
Â
We pray that as the Lord’s branches, our hearts will be touched and fully dominated by His love and compassion, that we will show forth the expressions of His love towards others.

Gal.5.22 – But what happens when we live God’s way? He brings gifts into our lives, much the same way that fruit appears in an orchard–things like affection for others, exuberance about life, serenity. We develop a willingness to stick with things, a sense of compassion in the heart, and a conviction that a basic holiness permeates things and people. We find ourselves involved in loyal commitments,
Thank you Jesus. Any other love is a fake love. And sir I have come to understand that, is not about the excuse, is plain,If you are not bearing fruit as a life connect leader , it means you are not abiding.
